Training

Shoden – First Level

There is no pre requisite to learning Reiki
Anyone can learn the art of hands-on healing

After learning Shoden, the first level training, you will be able to give hands-on treatments to yourself and others and benefit from the gift of Reiki as and when you need it.
Reiki treatments are very useful to help all your family members and friends, from babies to the elderly as there are no contra-indication to receiving Reiki.

You will be able to use Reiki with confidence as a great first aid kit for all minor ailments such as colds, headaches, tummy aches, bumps and bruises etc. or even to help for more serious conditions as a complementary therapy and provide daily treatments over a long period of time if necessary.

All certified Jikiden Reiki® teachers pass on what they have been taught as it was originally passed on to them.
As an authorised Jikiden Reiki® teacher, I follow the curriculum and use the course material issued by the Jikiden Reiki Kenkyukai (Institute) in Kyoto, Japan.

“The seminar involved a good mix of practical work and theory allowing me to understand the meaning and value of what I learnt and did during the seminar. The practical work also allowed me a hands-on experience which was well explained making it easy for anyone to understand. Overall, I found the seminar to be very interesting and well explained and I learnt a lot about Reiki and its tradition.”
Liam, Edinburgh
“I recently completed my Reiki 1 (Shoden) training with Laure and it was an incredibly beautiful experience. Laure is encouraging, engaged, and supportive with each session. It is clear that she has a passion for the art of Reiki as well as a passion for sharing her knowledge and practice. She brings deep peace and presence in her teaching, which is so easily felt at each moment. Laure created a special space for learning and spiritual discovery, and also for making new friends. It was a remarkable experience that I’ll never forget. Whether it be for personal or professional reasons, I highly recommend Laure’s Reiki course. She’s simply wonderful!”
